anboc.2018 will offer Conducting Masterclasses, one specialising in Band and one in Strings.

There are only 6 podium places for each session and participants will be selected by the clinicians Professor Rob McWilliams and Associate Professor Tze Law Chan respectively.

The details of each class are as follows:

  1. Conducting Masterclass with Associate Professor Tze Law Chan and University of Queensland’s Pulse Strings – Friday 5th October 2:00pm-3:00pm - Auditorium 1 (QCGU Auditorium), State Library of Queensland [Session Sponsor: QCGU & UQ]. Repertoire: Antiche dance ed arie (Ancient Airs and Dances); Suite 3, P. 172 (1931) arranged by Respighi.
  2. Conducting masterclass with Professor Rob McWilliams and Queensland Wind and Brass – Saturday 6 October, 2:00-3:00pm – Auditorium 1 (QCGU Auditorium), State Library of Queensland [Session Sponsor: Yamaha Music Australia]. Repertoire: TBC

Successful applicants will be allocated sections to conduct by the clinician and ABODAQ will make the scores available upon acceptance of place.
