On the Stand: Piquing their interest: Choosing repertoire for your middle schoolers

ABODAQ continues On the Stand: a panel discussion series which will allow members to listen and interact with people who have a variety of experiences, expertise and personal views on a range of relevant topics. Each session will conclude with drinks and light refreshments, providing both a social and networking opportunity for “in person” attendees.

 

“On the Stand” a panel discussion: 5:30pm – 6:30pm:
“Piquing their interest” hosted by Rachel Howley, will feature international and national wind, string and choral conductors who are working within the SHEP Middle School Brisbane program across the weekend. This event will be held in the Conservatorium Foyer (Level 2).

Social Evening: 6:45pm – 9:00pm
The panel discussion will be followed by the ABODA Queensland social evening in the Foyer of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, where you will have the opportunity to meet this year’s SHEP Middle School Brisbane conductors, and SHEP and Open Conservatorium staff while networking with other teachers and colleagues.

This event is free for ABODA Queensland members and SHEP MS Brisbane nominating teachers (a discount code will be made available through Open Conservatorium). Bookings are essential for all events and PD certificates will be made available via email post the event.
